Whether you need to get out for an adventure with your little ones, or you are looking for a weekly activity for your children to be involved in, check out Taos’s free and extra-curricular activities to motivate, inspire and challenge your family.

Mondays
Home school @ the Harwood:
The Harwood offers two programs for home-school families held monthly from January thru May. Homeschool Group I is designed for children ages 3-8 and held the first Monday of each month from 10-11:30. And for children 9 & up, Homeschool Group II meets the first Wednesday of the month from 1-2:30.

Wednesdays
Museum Association of Taos: A free program from 11am – 11.30am for preschoolers and their families/caregivers sponsored by the Museum Association of Taos. Join educators at one of the museums for a brief story followed by an age-appropriate art project. This program rotates to different sites every Wednesday year-round. Harwood Museum

Join artists/instructor Maureen Mullens for an eight week class for kids 8-10 beginning Tuesday April 1st  and running on Tuesdays thru May 20th 4-5pm. Painting will be the focus of this special after-school class - learn about different media and methods - from realism to abstraction - the Museum collection will be used for inspiration. call 758-9826 x 105 for more information.
