Come and play with your child! Playtime provides activities, manipulatives and a community that will stimulate your child as we all play together. The focus of each Playtime will vary, allowing your child to experience activities that support fine and gross motor development, spatial awareness, balance, movement, and of course their imaginations!

Baby Playtime Summer 2008    $5
(Wednesdays from 11am-11:45am with Beth)

The focus of this class is to offer a comfortable space for parents/caregivers to come with their babies to talk, share ideas, and enjoy each other ’s company, while giving the babies a chance to socialize with their peers and explore the room and the day’s activities.

Class activities will vary depending on class size, the age range of babies, and the desire to be flexible for their changing needs. Soft mats will always be set-up, instruments and age-appropriate toys will be available, and songs will always be sung. And, if the time seems right we’ll bring out finger paints, water-play activities, or stories to read. Feel free to feed and change your baby during class, or to attend to whatever needs that may arise and enjoy the morning with us.

Toddler Music and Play Summer 2008    $5
(Wednesdays from 10am – 11am with Beth)

Come and join us during Music and Play for Toddlers: during the first 15 minutes children can adjust to the room and pick out instruments, scarves, and puppets to play with, followed by 30 minutes of singing our favorite songs, dancing, instrument playing, finger play songs, rhythm exercises, Spanish songs, lullabies, and finally winding down with a classroom activity, a small snack, and a story during the final 15 minutes of class. This class is offered to Toddlers, but some pre-walkers may be ready for it, and “older “toddlers and preschoolers are always welcome.
