Radiant Yoga with Laura

a yoga class from 4pm-4.45pm on Tuesdays for 3-8 year olds, taught by our very own Laura! Blending beginning poses and breathing from the Hatha and Kundalini traditions, this is a FUN way for kids to be introduced to yoga and how to strengthen their bodies, relax, and learn to focus. Laura was trained by Shakta Kaur Khalsa, who founded the Radiant Child Yoga program 10 years.

Family Music Classes

Family Music for Babies, Wednesday mornings from 10:15-10:45 is a 30-minute class for parent and baby (newborn- 18 months). Adults learn lullabies, bounces, rhymes, echoes, and music/movement activities to awaken the child's curiosity about music. Babies absorb everything and learn the language of music as they learn to talk. Foundation is laid for beat awareness, vocal production, and aural discrimination. Fun for everyone!

Family Music, Wednesday mornings from 11-11.30, is a 30-minute class designed to bring the joy of music and movement to 1 1/2 - 3 1/2 year-olds and their caregivers, while developing musical skills. Adult and child explore music through singing, focused listening, moving echoing, rhythmic and melodic patterns and playing simple percussion instruments. It's also a lot of fun!

This class offers a gentle introduction to the world of dance for 3 – 6 year olds. Ballet, Flamenco, Belly Dancing, and other forms of dance will be touched on, as the children get the chance to try out different steps and costumes. Taught by the wonderful Amber Vasquez of the Taos Youth Ballet Company.
